Scatec Sunrise - future solar energy technology

Scatec Sunrise is Scatec’s vehicle for the investment in and development of promising next generation solar energy technologies. The main focus is high efficiency and lower cost of solar modules, aligned with our general belief around future PV technology winners.

Scatec Sunrise has several small to medium sized holdings in promising solar technology start-ups.  For some of these start-ups, Scatec Sunrise is actively involved in the management and is supporting the further development of both the start-up companies as well as their technology development. In addition, we strive to create value through realizing synergies and leveraging our PV network, including creating win-win opportunities between the Sunrise portfolio companies and Scatec Solar – such as market access for Sunrise portfolio companies.
